WHAT IS THE MANAGER EXPECTATIONS WORKSHOP

The MANAGER EXPECTATIONS WORKSHOP is a one-hour interactive online session for all People Managers to introduce the Manager Expectations and explain each Expectation so that there is a common understanding about what it is, what it means, and what it looks like on the job. After the session, managers can refer to resources which will help them to achieve the Expectations.

SESSION CONTENT

• Introduction: Why have Manager Expectations; Overview of 6 Manager Expectations.
• Each of the 6 Manager Expectations: Definition, what’s important about it, how it shows up on the job, ways it can be challenging, resources.
• Conclusion: Additional resources; Action Plan; Survey.

PROCESS

• Each session has a maximum of 10 participants from different departments and at different levels.
• Sessions are online, via Zoom, facilitated by Paula Grace, Talent Development Program Manager.

PARTICIPANT COMMITMENTS

1. Register for a session.
2. Show up to the registered session (managers of no-shows are notified).
3. Actively participate in session, including polls, speaking up, and writing in worksheet.
4. Create an Action Plan for applying learning on the job.
5. Provide written feedback on the session (short online survey).
